The Thai Rubber Association (TRA) had been established for more than 69 years. Nowadays, TRA has 46 companies as its members. TRA aims to protect members’ interests as well as the rubber business sector. The operation of TRA is based on the principle of transparency and good governance. TRA has an important role in coordinating with government agencies, the private sector, farmer groups, and international rubber associations. Another important role of TRA is to service members by informing news and information about rubber, business knowledge, and modern techniques. The Association obtains information from various sources and distributes to its members in the form of e-mails, monthly journals, TRA website, Line, and Facebook based on 3 following aims: 1) to build a good image for the association to be locally and internationally recognized; 2) to corporate with government agencies, farmer group, and private sector both at local and international level; and 3) to current information and news to rubber-related parties, including the government sector, private sector, farmers and everyone interested in rubber.
The Thai Rubber Association always develops the communication channels: monthly journals and the TRA website for more than 30 years. The Association has continually evaluated and improved both monthly journals and the website in contents and the forms based on beauty and convenience for users. Furthermore, TRA also provides the monthly journals as E-Magazine to increase communication channels to service members and interested parties. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thai government has rolled out the lockdown measure, which limits people's movements to prevent the COVID-19 spread. So, face-to-face meetings and seminars cannot be held. Therefore, TRA committees decided to set up the system for the online conference (VDO Conference) to prepare for TRA operation to reach the highest efficiency and to respond to the New Normal society.
The Thai Rubber Association always concerns the importance of the development of all communication channels whether monthly journals, website, Line, Facebook and VDO conference system to maximize benefits and satisfaction for both members and interested parties. On behalf of the Thai Rubber Association, to improve the communication channels of the Association, we kindly accept your feedbacks or any suggestions via email: tra@csloxinfo.com or fax: 074-429312
