Moving forward with the Thai Rubber Association
The Thai Rubber Association (TRA) was established in 1951 and currently has 40 members, including producers and exporters of rubber processing products, such as Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS), Standard Thai Rubber (STR) and concentrated latex, representing 85% of Thailand's total production and exports. Over the past 73 years, it has expanded its activities and continued to develop.

According to the association's rules, a new committee is elected every 2 years to manage the association's affairs. On April 3, 2024, the TRA annual meeting was held, and a new TRA committee was elected. Mr. Veerasith Sinchareonkul from Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited has been entrusted by the TRA committee to serve as the president of the Thai Rubber Association for the first time, with a term of 2 years from April 2024 to April 2026. Additionally, the new TRA committee will be officially introduced to the world rubber industry at the Thai Rubber Association Annual Dinner on May 10, 2024, at the Centara Grand at Central World Hotel in Bangkok.

Under the leadership of Mr. Veerasith Sinchareonkul, the Thai Rubber Association (TRA) is determined to continuously advance the association by adhering to the following important policies: 1) Ensuring the utmost satisfaction of association members by providing comprehensive services and resolving issues; 2) Enhancing the quality and standards of Thai rubber while promoting Thailand's rubber industry on a global scale; 3) Fostering close collaboration with the government, rubber farmers, and rubber users in the country to uphold quality standards and to concern sustainable business development ; and 4) Collaborating with international rubber organizations and rubber users worldwide to foster the sustainable growth of the rubber industry. In addition, the Thai Rubber Association (TRA) is honored to serve as a management committee of the International Rubber Association (IRA), a member of the ASEAN Rubber Business Council, a committee of the International Tripartite Rubber Council, and a committee of the International Rubber Consortium Limited (IRCo).

The current TRA committee is delighted and honored to have the trust of our members in managing a private-sector rubber organization of significant international importance. We are fully committed and ready to dedicate our physical energy and enthusiasm to successfully achieving the association's goals.
